Disc Herniation Pain Eased with Chiropractic

Singapore ChiropractorWe have helped many people in Singapore year after year who were afflicted with back pain, and some of those folks had been diagnosed with a disc herniation or bulge. Earlier research has shown that chiropractic adjustments can be an effective way to relieve the pain of disc herniation in the lumbar spine and other research has confirmed that it can relieve herniations in the cervical spine, too.

Now a new case study improves our knowledge of the advantages of chiropractic care for disc herniations. This article discusses a 45-year-old patient who had a 2-year history of "chronic mild low back pain and right buttock pain." The individual described a worsening of the radicular pain down her right leg, and also reported occasional tingling in her right foot. These are all indications of neurological complications, and are serious symptoms.

The person sought help from a chiropractic physician, who treated the patient with chiropractic adjustments and "advanced myofascial release therapy." The care consisted of 2 weeks of adjustments and an additional four weeks of home exercises and rehab.

The patient documented a "significant improvement in her low back pain and radiculopathy. In addition, she achieved some improvement in balance."

This report confirms what we see in our Singapore practice: chiropractic is great for reducing the discomfort of disc herniations without pills or high-risk surgical treatment.
